The Rise of Economic Darwinism

In order to understand what is happening in American politics, one has to understand Economic Darwinism.
Corporations exist for one purpose only and that is to maximize profit. And the factor affecting profit most is cost.
The four areas affecting cost the most are taxes, government regulation, wages, and benefits.
Now look at the platform of the Republican Party, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Corporations. They want to accomplish the following:
1. Cut corporate taxes or eliminate them entirely; eliminate the capital gains tax and the estate tax; and lower taxes on those making the most income.
2. Eliminate all government regulation.
3. Transfer all benefit cost to the employee, including Healthcare, Social Security and Medicare, privatize everything.
4. Eliminate the minimum wage. Outlaw Unions, the biggest factor affecting wages. Keep unemployment high and increase competition for low wage jobs by keeping the workforce under educated and by eliminating unemployment insurance. It also helps to eliminate all social safety net programs.
The result is a Plutocracy ruled by Oligarchs managing a workforce of credit slaves. Like the old Company Store concept, by keeping wages low, they can force people to rely upon credit to survive.
Finally, they keep a lid on dissent with a theocratic moral authority, effectively creating an American Taliban.
Everyone who votes Republican is helping create this dystopian future for their children and grandchildren.
The battle for America’s future begins today.
